The Problem

Most families are guessing. That's the real disadvantage.

Grades and test scores get a student to the review pile. What happens after that is a black box — and most families are navigating it with outdated advice and no framework.

📋

No clear starting point

Families don't know where their student actually stands relative to the schools they're targeting — so effort goes into the wrong things, too late.

💬

Advice from everywhere, strategy from nowhere

Well-meaning tips from relatives, forums, and rankings sites — but no single, coherent plan tying academics, activities, essays, and recommendations together.

⚖️

Parent-student friction

Without a shared framework, the admissions process becomes a source of tension instead of a project families work through together.

Nationally, the student-to-school-counselor ratio is 372:1 — well above the 250:1 recommended by the American School Counselor Association, and worse below high school. Counselors split that time across academics, scheduling, and personal support, not just college strategy — that gap is exactly what we're built to close.
The PlayBook Toolkit

A complete planning system your family can actually use.

Families work side by side with the same strategy across a structured workbook, personalized assessment, practical reports, and digital tools—whether the session is in person or virtual.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this for freshmen, or is it too late if my student is a junior or senior?+

The program works for students in grades 8–12. Earlier grades focus on building a strategic foundation; juniors and seniors focus on execution — finalizing the college list, essays, and application timeline. We tailor the session to your student's grade level.

Do you offer virtual or 1:1 options, or only in-person group sessions?+

All of the above. The bootcamp can run as a full in-person day, two in-person half-days, or fully virtual. If group scheduling doesn't fit your family, we also offer private 1:1 consults and ongoing 1:1 strategic coaching plans.

What exactly is the P.A.S.S. scorecard?+

The Playbook Academic Success Scorecard is a proprietary readiness score combining academic performance, extracurricular impact, essay strength, and recommendation quality into a single, actionable benchmark — used throughout the bootcamp and workbook.

How much does this cost?+

The bootcamp is $700 per family. Private 1:1 strategic coaching is available through ongoing plans from $2,500 to $13,500, depending on session frequency and level of access. The info session and initial consult are free.

When is the next session?+

Session timing and formats are planned around family availability. Join the Priority List and we'll follow up directly with available options.
